Game consoles usually don't tend to have killer software at launch but Nintendo is bucking that trend once again. The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild will be released simultaneously with the console itself on March 3, 2017.

The great fans of The Legend of Zelda who won't picking up the new console don't need to worry since the game comes out the same day for the Wii U. This isn't the first time Nintendo does thing like this as they already have done something similar with Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, releasing it on the Wii and Gamecube at the same time.

No information on Europe the launch date has been confirmed by Nintendo so for. Since the console is region-free, this shouldn't be a problem if it misses a Europe release date.

According to Eurogamer, the new Zelda game will be available at the release of the Nintendo Switch but for the US and Japan only. Europe will get it later.

"Multiple sources close to Nintendo have now told Eurogamer that, at the end of last year, Japan finalized its plans and had a change of heart: Switch needed the strongest possible launch lineup. In short, Zelda will release in March in North America and Japan. Zelda's launch timing in Europe is still unclear."

Since Nintendo cares about the Zelda fans, they have helped with making the wait seem a little shorter and released a new trailer for the game. In the trailer, viewers can see a few familiar sights (Master Sword for example) along with our hero of Time, Link rode on horseback, lighting up enemies with fire arrows and of course, hang gliding and riding on horseback. It all looks pretty awesome, too. If someone has missed it during the stream, the Legen of Zelda: Breath of the Wild trailer can be seen below.
