It's official. Nintendo Switch preorder is already available in US and UK. However, it looks like not all tech savvy Nintendo patrons will get to secure their game console.

Nintendo has always had a history of limiting its stock of game consoles. Earlier, the Japanese technology giant even announced in their Twitter page that Nintendo Switch preorder will be available in the Nintendo store in New York City. However, the preorder will be limited.

This announcement raised some questions because the Nintendo Switch preorder or any preorder at that matter, should not be limited. This situation can also mean bad news in terms of Nintendo Switch price since resellers can certainly take advantage of the situation. With this, Nintendo Switch price can be expected to be really high should the supply be limited.

According to Forbes, this strategy of Nintendo can either make or break the Nintendo Switch. Especially because the company has very tough competitors in the market now, namely Sony (PlayStation) and Microsoft (Xbox).

Fortunately, for those loyal Nintendo gamers, there are already reliable and known online retailers that are accepting the Nintendo Switch preorder. According to TechRadar, Amazon (US and UK) and Zavvi (UK) are already accepting orders as early as now. Published Nintendo Switch price is $299.99 for US and £279.99 for UK. Nintendo Switch release date will be on March 3, 2017.

Nintendo Switch features aims to provide single and multiplayer game experiences anywhere, anytime with anyone. The hybrid game console can be played as a home console or as a handheld device made possible by the detachable controllers.
