Nintendo NES Classic has been received warmly by gamers from all over the world. No doubt about that. However, the excitement of would-be buyers quickly turned into rage because of the supply shortage of the mini-game console.

It has been nearly impossible to find the Nintendo NES Classic, especially during the holidays. The extremely low supply and shocking high demand came as a surprise for everyone including Nintendo. Unfortunately, this scenario only provided a great opportunity for third-party sellers to increase the price of the mini-game console.

Now that the high demand is clearly seen by Japanese gaming company, surely Nintendo is now doing everything in its power to meet the requirements. The gift giving season is already over but the Nintendo NES Classic is still making waves.

According to Tech Spot, Nintendo is also preparing for the development and launch of Nintendo SNES Classic Edition. The company already secured the necessary trademark filing but is not rushing the launch.

More importantly, the company should very well learn from their recent major mistake with their next big hybrid game console, the Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo only recently fully launched its first ever hybrid game console. While it will only be available by March 3, 2017, Nintendo Switch preorder has already been launched. Amazon has already started accepting preorders and so are other online websites and gaming stores.

According to Forbes, Nintendo's biggest mistake will be to overlook the business side again with Nintendo Switch. That it is best to ensure that there is an ample amount of units available during the launch of the hybrid game console.

However, some are already feeling that it may have the same fate as the Nintendo NES Classic supply shortage. For one, Nintendo announced a "limited" preorder in its New York City store. Making Nintendo fans believe that the company is again underestimating the Nintendo Switch.
