Sony recently has rolled out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to its Xperia Z5 Performance handsets. Now, a similar firmware is predicted to hit the Xperia Z5, Z4 Tablet and Z3+ bringing new features and enhancements with the devices.

According to Telegiz News, the Android Nougat OS upgrade for Sony Xperia Z5, Z4 Tablet and Z3+ might arrive soon. Although the roll out date is still unidentified; a clue was exposed hinting that Sony is organizing to release the update.

The Android 7.0 Nougat update for the Sony Xperia Z5, Z4 Tablet and Z3+ has obtained a certification from PTCRB. For reference, PTCRB is a wireless device certification forum in North America. The build number 32.3.A.0.372 was spotted as advancement to the 32.2.A.5.11 build. The said upgraded build might be an indication the Android Nougat firmware for the Sony Xperia Z5, Z4 Tablet, and Z3+ will be arriving soon.

When it comes with the new features and enhancements that the Android 7.0 Nougat will bring to Sony Xperia Z5, Z4 Tablet, and Z3+. International Business Times has learned that the new update brings multi-window options, and bundled notification. Aside from that, the users of above-mentioned devices will also experience improved security and numerous other value-added features upon updating to Android Nougat.

In addition to the Nougat features, Sony has assimilated exclusive Xperia phone series features. This includes manual shutter speed control and manual ISO control at 23MP option and also the trademarked STAMINA battery power optimization.

Apart from Sony Xperia Z5, Z4 Tablet, and Z3+ devices, Sony will also roll out the Android 7.0 Nougat to Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Xperia X, Xperia XA and Xperia XA Ultra. But then, the release date of the firmware is not yet confirmed so it is still advised to keep an eye for further announcement about Sony's roadmap of the software update.
