Morgan Freeman dozed off during an interview in which he was supposed to promote his new film, Now You See Me.

The 75-year old sat alongside co-star Michael Caine for an interview with Seattle's Fox affiliate KCPQ on Wednesday.

As Caine spoke with co-anchors Kaci Aitchison and Bill Wixey about the magic tricks featured in the film, Freeman visibly nodded off, his eyes closing for over 30 seconds.

Aitchison and Wixey never bothered to wake Freeman, deciding it best to leave well enough alone. Caine seemed oblivious to the whole incident, never glancing over to see the sleeping actor.

Freeman eventually woke up after his 30-second nap, glancing over at Caine and nodding. Soon, however, the actor struggled to keep his eyes open.

After a clip of the film was shown, Freeman's head was bowed, seemingly in a deeper sleep. Freeman became alert again but soon began drifting in and out of consciousness.

When Caine finished talking, Freeman looked visibly weathered as Wixey asked him a question directly.

Since the live taping, Freeman has not released a statement about the incident.

Freeman is famous for his gigantic filmography and narration work. The actor won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2004 for his role in Million Dollar Baby.  He has been nominated four other times.

Now You See Me is about a team of magicians who steal money from banks and give the money away to audience members at their shows.

Caine also starred in a similar magic-themed film: Christopher Nolan's 2006 film The Prestige, which co-starred Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale.

Along with Caine, Freeman's co-stars on Now You See Me include: Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Woody Harrelson and Mark Ruffalo.

Now You See Me is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 31.
