Xiaomi Mi 6 release date may be nearer than what has been previously speculated. Xiaomi is becoming well-known for providing innovative yet cheap smartphones in the market. Now, the Chinese mobile manufacturer's new flagship phone is expected to rival with Samsung and Apple's next flagship smartphones.

Its specs are speculated to compete with the latest smartphones in the market today. Given that the Xiaomi Mi 6 price is expected to be way lower than Samsung Galaxy S8 or even iPhone 8, provides more options for smartphone users. Xiaomi Mi 6 is expected to come in three chipset variants. According to BGR, these variants will be Xiaomi Mi 6S, Xiaomi Mi 6E and Xiaomi Mi 6P.

Xiaomi Mi 6S will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. While Xiaomi Mi 6E and Xiaomi Mi 6P will be powered by MediaTek Helio SoC and Xiaomi Pinecone SoC, respectively. Some speculators also say that Xiaomi Mi 6E can also stand for an Exynos Chipset variant.

Other Xiaomi Mi 6 specs include a 2.5D curved display with dual tone design (metal back). In terms of camera, the Mi 6 will also be great with 16 MP rear camera (4k capable) and 4 MP front camera.

In terms of price, it is expected to differentiate based on these chipset variants. The Xiaomi Mi 6S will be the high-end version and will boast more exciting Xiaomi Mi 6 specs.

This variant will be powered by Snapdragon 835. This will enable the Xiaomi Mi 6 to work faster with less power consumption. It will also include a Quick Charge 4.0 in this variant, making a five-hour usage possible with just five minutes of charging.

Moreover, this variant makes a 4K resolution screen possible. This means that Xiaomi Mi 6S will have outstanding well-defined display resolution. But this will also mean price in this variant will be much higher.

Xiaomi Mi 6 release date is speculated to be this February 14 or February 27 during the Mobile World Congress 2017.
