Blake Shelton was honored with two People's Choice Awards Wednesday night, but the singer made sure someone else also got some credit for his success-girlfriend Gwen Stefani.

When he was presented with both Favorite Country Male Artist and Album of the Year awards, Shelton thanked his fans and then made sure to give a shout-out to his girlfriend of more than a year as well.

"Thank you to the hottest date here tonight, Gwen Stefani, who's sitting right out there," he said, as the camera panned to Stefani smiling and giggling over his shout-out with Kristen Bell.

Shelton's album which won was If I'm Honest, the album which chronicled his breakup and divorce from Miranda Lambert and his finding new love with Stefani. The two recorded a duet together on the album for the song "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," and his song "Guy With A Girl" is also widely believed to be about his new girlfriend.

The two have been very vocal about their albums being devoted to their 2015 divorces, with Stefani devoting songs on This Is What The Truth Feels Like to ther end of her marriage to Gavin Rossdale and her new relationship with Shelton.

The pair are also going to be reunited when the new season of The Voice premieres on NBC, as Stefani is returning as a coach for the first time since she and Shelton went public with their romance after connecting on the set during the 9th season, the first after they both announced their respective divorces. And though they initially were both nervous about how it would work out, Shelton has since admitted he's looking forward to the extra element of competition his girlfriend being on the show brings.

"We were both nervous about it. [We wondered], 'How is this going to work?'" Shelton said during an interview with CMT. "But it brings a new level of competition to the show. Just when you think 12 seasons in it kind of is what it is, it's not anymore. With her and I in this relationship, it's so exciting! It truly is!"
