A movie that should have been a feel-good family film about beloved dogs is now coated with controversy after a video from the set leaked which appears to show a dog being mistreated as it is forced to do a scene it didn't want to participate in.

The dog in the video is reluctant to get into a pool with churning water to imitate a raging river, and is forced into the water by its handler, as others make comments that the dog should just be "thrown in."
