Xiaomi Mi MIX Evo has been spotted on a benchmark website Geekbench. According to the specifications listed on the website, it looks like the smartphone is a high-end device and it packs a capable processor in the form of Snapdragon 835 SoC.

Xiaomi is already in the headlines for its Redmi Note 4 launch on January 19 in India, but the company is secretly working on another smartphone also to impress fans.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Xiaomi Mi MIX Evo smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8998 (Snapdragon 835) processor and coupled with 4GB of RAM. The listing also suggests that the smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and the clock speed of the octa-core processor is clocked at 1.9GHz.

Apart from Asus, Samsung and other known brands, Xiaomi is also going to influence the advance capabilities of the new chipset, which is a complete power-packed performer as compared to its rivals, reports IBTimes.

Even though the listing does not reveal more details, its name suggests that this might be a possible variant of company's near bezel-less display smartphone-Xiaomi Mi MIX. The listing was firstly spotted by GSMArena.

The new chipset i.e. SD-853 will offer support for a 4K display and Quick Charge 4.0, which makes devices capable of achieving five hours of power in just five minutes of charging. Purportedly smartphone could feature a display with a higher resolution. The Xiaomi MIX Evo in the benchmark has achieved a single-core score of 1,918 and multi-core score of 5,689.

However, it still remains unclear if the Chinese tech giant would also pack the SD835 in its Mi MIX Pro, which came with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage.

Xiaomi launched the Mi MIX smartphone as a limited edition handset in October 2016. The phone have 91.3 percent screen-to-body ratio and is powered by a 2.35GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 SoC, coupled with 4GB/ 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. In terms of camera, Xiaomi has included a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel camera at front.

At CES 2017 earlier this month, Xiaomi has also announced a new Mi MIX white colour variant that will be launched in China later this year.
