It's official, and Barack Obama is now no longer the President of the United States, with Donald Trump having officially been sworn in as the 45th President of the United States.

The last eight years were ones that were tinged by some feelings of hate towards the First Family by some, but overall, their time in the White House was untouched by scandal and controversy, and they will likely be written in the history books as one of the most positively influential families to ever grace the White House.

Knowing they will no longer be in the White House does mean we have to also admit that we will miss the Obamas. Here are four things we'll miss the most about the Obamas:

Watching Sasha and Malia Grow Up

Granted Barron Trump is also young, and there may be something to be said about watching a boy grow up in the White House, something that hasn't been done since the Kennedy presidency. But watching Malia and Sasha transform from little girls to grown-up young women with bright futures-Malia will be attending Harvard University in the fall-has been an honor and a privilege for us, and we'll hopefully see some big, amazing and wonderful things from those two in the future.

The Respect They Command

Even faced with tough times, The Obama family has always commanded respect and shown that they can be in touch with the American people in times of grief, as well as be supportive of, and willing to accept, opposition. Never was that more true than when Barack called for unity after Donald Trump's unexpected election to the Presidency, or when he sang "Amazing Grace" at a memorial for the victims of the Charleston Church Massacre.

Biden-Obama Memes

Never have a President and Vice-President seemed so close, so much like buddies and best friends, than Barack Obama and Joe Biden. The two are the subject of so many memes which catalogue their friendship, and it's one we'll always miss, because it's hard to imagine a similar relationship forming between Donald Trump and Mike Pence

The Genuine Love Between Michelle and Barack

These two were not just husband and wife, but also best friends. They've had moments that were tender, moments that seemed so pure, moments where they clearly wondered how they wound up together, and moments where they supported each other. We'll miss seeing them together like that.
