The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is one of the most anticipated devices. It has been rumored for release many times in the past months and considering that the last Surface Pro was released 2015, the new model has been expected since 2016. However, with its absence last year, the device is said to make an appearance in the 2017 Mobile World Congress event.

According to Inquisitr, this rumored release date seems to make sense considering the fact that the Windows 10 update, which is called as Redstone 2, is expected to be rolled out around in the month of April of this year. With that, a March unveiling of the Surface Pro 5 is a strategic step for the company.

On the specs part, Microsoft is rumored to have 4K display and an improved stylus which can be charged wirelessly. So, those who love to watch videos and enjoy short movie clips on their gadgets will fall in love with the 12.5-inch screen of the Surface Pro 5, TechTimes notes. It may also feature 3D support for a better viewing experience.

The Surface Pro 5 will be coming with 16 GB RAM and Intel's Kaby Lake processors. There are also unclear talks about the possible LTE-capable Surface Pro 5 variant. Wireless charging stylus has also been mentioned many times alongside the possible use of a 4K display.

Apart from this, the gadget is also said to come in two variants: a 16GB model and a 32GB option. It is also rumored to have 512GB to 1TB of internal storage. A USB Type-C port could also featured in Microsoft Surface Pro 5.

As per Digital Times, Pegatron Technology will be the one to manufacture the device. Moreover, Microsoft has also considered Quanta Computer as an additional manufacturer for the Surface Pro 5. This plan hasn't been confirmed yet.
