She may have already gone through the process of parenting young kids with her adopted children with first husband Tom Cruise, but that doesn't mean Nicole Kidman isn't less protective or involved in the lives of her younger children with husband Keith Urban.

In a new interview, Kidman opened up about sometimes being a 'helicopter parent' around her daughters with Urban, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, and admitted she struggles sometimes as they continue to grow and start telling her when she's being too close and they need some space.

"I do have elements of the helicopter parent that I grapple with," she admitted. "When my daughters are playing on the monkey bars I try not to hover and say 'be careful.' I want them to find their own way, but I still have that balance of knowing I am where they need me."

"Sometimes I'm too much and that's when they go, 'Please don't burst into tears when I tell you this, mum.' So I try not to because I want them to tell me things," she added.

Kidman's comments come on the heels of her previously admitting that she's sometimes sad by how fast her kids are growing up, and that she'd love to have another baby if she could.

"It makes me sad that my girls are getting bigger now," she said. "Someone I know once said, 'The best thing is to always have a baby in the house' and I kind of believe that. And we don't have a baby in the house... Keith and I would love to have more babies. My grandmother gave birth to my mother at 49. I would be beyond happy and just welcome it with open arms."
