While tech manufacturing giant Samsung is already on top of the industry pack, a catastrophe associated with the fire-prone Galaxy Note 7 can still torpedo its chances of maintaining the company's lead.

As of late, the South Korean firm is solidifying its efforts that will admonish the doubt and confusion among users, enthusiasts and potential product purchasers. The move is necessary going forward especially with upcoming items to be released soon.

The market remains robust for the Seoul-based organization. With an intensified quality inspecting procedure in place, Samsung's devices will only get better.

Prior to selling its future products, the tech group will deploy its eight-point safety check system. Aside from X-ray trials, visual examination, durability tests and volatile organic compound assessments, discharging inspection, accelerated usage evaluation, disassembling process and open circuit checks will also be employed.

In addition, Samsung will also be introducing a vital part of its grade control team. In a sense, this is one facet that was attributed to the Note 7 fiasco.

The manufacturing firm has a battery advisory group on hand to monitor and evaluate the power cells integrated into all its items. Included in the team are four consultants and professors whose expertise focused on batteries.

Samsung's recent move is a step into the right direction. It has revealed that the linking of positive and negative electrodes had led to the Note 7 woes.

The company will most likely sustain what it started during the probe. With around 700 researchers evaluating 30,000 batteries and 200,000 smartphones at that time, the establishment of a testing center is indeed necessary.

Samsung has also expanded its efforts to protect its image by instituting a survey across the US. A study by Creative Strategies has unveiled that only 28 percent of American Android users have a negative view against the South Korean brand.

Along this line, the Seoul-based manufacturer has been swift in reinforcing its quality control approach. While innovation is an integral part of its production, quality assurance, testing, safety and manufacturing procedures must never be taken for granted.

According to DJ Koh, Samsung's mobile head, the research group has patented several breakthroughs in battery mechanics. Related details will be unveiled to the public in due time.
