Apple's latest flagship laptop, the 2016 Apple MacBook Pro, was met with a number of apparent issues after it was released late last year. Some of the issues that were reported were mostly concerned with the device's on board GPU and its apparently less than stellar battery life.

However, majority of those issues might have been more on the software side as opposed to being the fault of the laptop's hardware. This has been made apparent by the recently released bug fix update for Apple MacOS Sierra.

Apple has claimed that they had resolved majority of the issues through their previously released OS update, but that hasn't really been the case. However, the newly released MacOS Sierra. 10.12.3 update is likely now the real deal.

According to a report from Tech Crunch, Apple's latest MacOS Sierra 10.12.3 update has now done away with the most laptop's main issues. The update itself has reportedly now fixed a Safari icon fetching bug that was apparently the cause of the laptop's rapid battery drain.

The bug reportedly sapped away too much of the battery's juice as it had been using too many resources. With the update, users should now expect significant improvements in their device's battery life thanks to a new Safari version, Safari 10.0.3.

The MacOS Sierra. 10.12.3 update also fixes the laptop's GPU overheating problems, as per Apple Insider, that have been reported by numerous users of the 15-inch version of the MacBook Pro.

Users who had used heavy software, such as the Adobe Premier Pro, had been reporting problems with their laptops, which apparently glitched out due to the GPU's temperature. With the update, that issue should be totally fixed.

The new MacBook Pro operating system update also comes with a number of other bug fixes, including fixes for PDF document issues, image importing errors and user account problems.

MacBook Pro users are advised to update their laptops right away by visiting the Mac App Store and getting the latest MacOS Sierra version.
