Xiaomi is going to update many of their phones to Android 7.0 Nougat with some of the more obvious being their most recent devices that include the Xiaomi Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, and the Xiaomi Mi 5. 

Recently, a list has been populated which reportedly shows all of the devices that are expected to get the update, as well as those which are not expected to be among those moving away from older versions of the Android software.

That being mentioned, the operative words are "expected" and "unexpected," that means there is always a chance that Xiaomi could push the software to some devices that are listed as unexpected and hold it back from those that are listed as expected.

Xiaomi right now appears to be working on pushing put Android 7.0 Nougat to its devices, and one of the first to receive it could be Redmi Note 4 as it is the recent one. The company has made MIUI 8 global beta ROM 7.1.19 based on Android Nougat available for Redmi Note 4 and with giving a clear hint that the final version could be rolled out in the next few weeks.

Xiaomi's Redmi Note lineup has a couple of devices, which are going to be updated like the Redmi Note 4 and the Redmi Note 3, but the Redmi Note and Redmi Note 4G are being left out. As for the rest of the devices that are mentioned to get the new Android 7.0 Nougat software. The list includes the Redmi 4, Redmi 4 Prime, Redmi 4A, Redmi 3s, Redmi 3s Prime, Mi Note 2, Mi Max, and finally the Mi MIX. 

Additionally the popular devices like Mi 5s Plus, Mi 5s, Mi 5, Mi 4, Mi 4s, Mi 4c, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 3, Redmi 3A, Mi Note 2, Redmi Pro, Mi Note Pro, Mi Pad 2, and Mi 4i are also expected to get Google's latest OS, as per the report on IBTimes.

While the most recent phones that have been launched are sure to get the latest OS upgrade, but others that are bit older are generally being left out, such as the Mi 3 which is not expected to get the software version bump.
