It was one of the first Nicholas Sparks movie adaptations to make teen girls everywhere swoon, and now, 15 years later, even the cast of A Walk to Remember is looking back on the film with fond memories-and seem to be hoping they can have a reunion soon.

Mandy Moore, who at 16 portrayed female lead Jamie Sullivan opposite Shane West's Landon Carter, revealed in an "Ask Me Anything" segment with fans on Twitter, revealed that she and the cast are trying to all get together for a reunion, something that made fans extremely excited when she confirmed it.

"We're working on it!" She revealed when a fan asked.

Fan reactions ranged from pure joy to ones which related both the movie and her current role on This Is Us.

However, before fans get too excited, it would seem unlikely that a reunion would mean a movie, since most of the films based on Nicholas Sparks books came from his books, and there was no sequel to A Walk To Remember. In addition, (Spoiler Alert) Jaime did die by the end of the movie, and a small scene with Landon and her father (portrayed by Peter Coyote) had flashed forward a few years into the future from that point.

Still, a reunion would be a nice treat for fans, as well as the cast, as both Moore and West revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, by discussing the chemistry they had with one another on set.

"Shane was so cool. Everything about him-the way he dressed, the little cigarettes that he smoked, and the music he listened to. He was the character to me and there was definitely a part of me that absolutely fell in love with him," Moore said. "... Shane was so wonderful... I felt incredibly lucky right off the bat that I had someone who was as willing to work with me and who was patient and understanding. He was just the perfect partner for that."

"It was kind of perfect the way we came into the project because she was coming from this pop background at that time-she had her song "Candy," and a role in the Princess Diaries-and for me I was into punk rock and so it was like completely opposites attract, or opposites are forced together to work," West added.
