HBO's new documentary on Warren Buffett premieres tonight, and here's how you can watch it online.

Millions has aspired to be Buffett over the years for his business acumen and incredible wealth. The billionaire's journey to becoming one of the richest people in the world is chronicled in the new HBO documentary Becoming Warren Buffett.

As HBO describes the documentary, Becoming Warren Buffett is "the improbable story of an ambitious, numbers-obsessed boy from Nebraska who became one of the richest, most respected men in the world. The definitive documentary on Buffett, this candid portrait sheds new light on a man who has helped shape how Americans view capitalism and, more recently, philanthropy. Told primarily in Buffett's own words, the film features never-before-released home videos, family photographs, archival footage and interviews with family and friends."

The doc is directed by Peter Kunhardt, who was also responsible for the Emmy-winning and Oscar nominated documentary Jim: The James Foley Story.

So will viewers get the inside scoop on stocks and other business secrets? Unlikely.

"People watching it expecting to learn how to buy cheap stocks will be disappointed," Buffett told The New York Times recently. "When I think about getting beyond a financial audience, this becomes really prominent."

Becoming Warren Buffett premieres on HBO Monday, Jan. 30 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. You can also watch along on HBO NOW and HBO Go. If will be archived on HBO NOW and HBO Go after the broadcast, so you'll still be able to catch it if you missed the premiere.
