NCIS star Pauley Perrette tweeted a note in reaction to many critics who say actors shouldn't state their opinion about politics.

Hollywood stars have been criticized over the past year or so for making political statements while accepting awards. Those who disagree with their statements often comment that Hollywood actors live "in a bubble" and are "out of touch" with everyday Americans. Now, Perrette has had enough.

The actress tweeted in response to criticism her fellow actors received when making politically-tinged speeches at the SAG Awards last night.

"Proud to be an actor tonight #SAGawards Even though some of you think our jobs eliminate us from loving our country and having an opinion," Perrette wrote. "'Out Of Touch Celebrities Opinions being shoved down my throat' WHAT? You don't know me! I'm overwhelmed with sorrow doing as much as I can."

Perrette then posted a long note for those who weren't quite getting her message. The note states that she's "had thoughts" about politics while working at various everyday jobs, like a car lot a Taco Bell, bartending and more. She goes on to explain how she lives a simple life, and that the everyday person is "fooled by a illusion of excess," using the Trumps and Kardashians as prime examples.

Her note ends with criticism for President Donald Trump, stating that the God she believes in wouldn't build walls or try to tear people apart. She writes that there plenty of viable Republican candidates, but people chose to go with "an insane dictator who just wants to win, and is nuts and doesn't give a s- about you. Just wants to rule the world."

Alongside the note, Perrette posted, "you want my truth? You got it. If you don't get this, please unfollow and leave me be."
