After her quick stint on "The Voice" as a new advisor to Gwen Stefani's team, NBC has been eyeing to have Celine Dion as its full-time judge since time immemorial. However, knowing that the pop diva always has a lot on her plate, it might be impossible for the network to have her on their reality show.

Celine Dion helped the contestants of "The Voice" under Gwen Stefani to hone their talents more. To promote her appearance on the show, the "My Heart Will Go On" hitmaker even tweeted a photo on her Twitter account standing side-by-side with Blake Shelton's partner. "Very excited to join @gwenstefani on @NBCTheVoice as #TeamGwen's advisor for Battles!" she captioned their snap.

Wearing her black leather dress, Celine Dion looked pretty happy to be with Gwen Stefani on "The Voice." This, too, marked the former No Doubt frontwoman's return after being away for one season to promote her new album, "This is What the Truth Feels Like," and to go on a tour. This is also one of "The Power of Love" singer's moves to be back in the limelight after the death of her husband, Rene Angelil, in January 2016, Fox News reported.

Meanwhile, in a report made by TMZ, the guest appearance of Celine Dion on "The Voice" is something that should have happened a long time ago. However, it is now what NBC expects as it wants her to be officially part of the show than just being a guest star. In fact, an insider told the publication that the "Because You Loved Me" singer has been offered to be in the reality series for a number of times now.

But, Celine Dion has been refusing to do so because of her hectic schedule with Las Vegas residency. Allegedly, she only accepted the guest appearance as its production will only take a couple of days unlike being a full-time judge that requires her to be on the show for several months.
