Antonio Banderas, who had become a household name after his work in "The Mask of Zorro, was reportedly rushed to the hospital following a heart attack scare while he was in his countryside home. The actor hasn't really been seen much in Hollywood, but he still remains to be one of the most iconic actors in the history of film. This is probably why there is now a rising concern for his health condition.

According to the Mirror UK, the 56-year old actor was apparently exercising when he first experienced pains in his chest late last week. After realizing that it was more than just minor chest pains, the paramedics were immediately called on the scene. Banderas was then rushed to the St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey, Surrey England. The actor was eventually discharged with doctors claiming that he simply had an "episode," but was altogether fine.

In 2015, the actor moved to Britain, together with his new Dutch investment consultant girlfriend, to a £2.4million mansion in the village of Cobham. The actor and his partner, Nicole Kimpel, have since then lived a rather relaxed lifestyle outside of the press' prying eyes.

Banderas was previously married to actress Melanie Griffith for over 18 years, they formally finalized their divorce roughly around the same time Banderas had decided to move to Britain.

In an interview with The Sun, Banderas confirmed that he had already quit his partying days and was set on living a more simple and free lifestyle in the countryside. He even revealed that the space and freedom has inspired him to pursue his writing even more. Banderas even boasted to the publication that he actually is working on several scripts as of the moment.

Despite their reclusive lifestyle, Banderas and Kimpel do still appear in Hollywood from time to time. The couple was last spotted at Avi Lerner's dinner party in Hollywood early last year.
