Brad Pitt is reportedly feeling more confident than ever that he'll be granted joint custody of the six children he shares with estranged wife Angelina Jolie, but that doesn't mean his soon-to-be ex has given up her fight to receive sole custody of the kids.

According to The Sun, Pitt and his team are confident that the private judge he and Jolie have since hired to keep things from being leaked to the press, will rule in his favor, meaning he and Jolie will share custody of Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne, and that possibility is something that is giving him more joy.

"This is a massive victory for Brad because all he ever wanted was joint custody," a source said. "At no point did he ever want to take the kids away from Angelina, which she initially tried to do to him. Things have come full circle since they announced their separation."

"Brad Pitt's lawyers believe the court will look badly on Angelina's negative PR campaign against him," the source added. "Obviously anything can happen and things could still change, but right now the negotiations are looking very positive for Brad."

However, according to In Touch Weekly, Jolie is still fighting for sole custody, and has even upped some of the stakes, demanding now that Pitt pay her $100,000 a month in child support for their kids.

"This will pay for all of the kids' expenses as well as set up a trust fund for each child," an insider told the magazine.

Pitt allegedly has no problem with the amount if it takes care of the children, but would prefer the money stay in a trust instead of letting Jolie control it through the child support payments.

However, her demands are also allegedly an attempt to get things finalized quicker, though the source warns that she's dragging them out because of what she keeps asking for.

"Angie wants the divorce finalized within the next 90 days, including custody and property settlements," the source said. "But with everything she's asking for, it's unlikely that will happen. She's making ridiculous financial demands."
