Studio Wildcard has set up new experimental servers for "ARK: Survival Evolved." The said experimental servers are intended to gauge the players' interest when the key features of "ARK: Survival Evolved" are removed.

Without the ability to interact with the dinosaurs, Studio Wildcard wants to know if players will still be interested in "ARK: Survival Evolved." According to PC Gamer, the new experimental servers are not considered as a game-wide policy. Instead, it is considered as a limited test to see how players like "ARK: Survival Evolved" without their so-called pets, also known as the dinosaurs.

However, it doesn't mean that the new experimental servers will completely rid "ARK: Survival Evolved" of dinosaurs. In fact, the dinosaurs will still be around but the players won't be able to interact with them like before. This would mean that players will have to find new ways and strategies to maximize the game. The new experimental servers can reportedly accommodate up to 120 players and tribes will only be limited to 10 players.

In the "ARK: Survival Evolved" community forums, Jatheis Karunakaran, also known as Admin Jat, posted an overview of what the new experimental servers had to offer. "ARK has a lot of core survival elements to it, and we wanted to see how players would find playing the game without the help of their trusty tames," he posted.

For players who are curious about the new "ARK: Survival Evolved" experimental servers, they can check out the new feature by simply encoding '[120 Players] NoTamingExperiment' into the servers' browser filter.

Meanwhile, iDigital Times reports that "ARK: Survival Evolved" was updated to version 254 on Jan. 30. The said "ARK: Survival Evolved" update means that players will have to learn a whole new set of admin commands for Tek Tier and new Dinos.
