Lady Gaga's latest Instagram post is causing a lot of speculation about Beyoncé potentially performing with her at the Super Bowl halftime show.

Gaga continues to hype up her fans about her upcoming Super Bowl halftime show. That anticipation went into overdrive on Wednesday when Gaga posted a photo of herself on Instagram with a very interesting caption.

"Houston, you are beautiful," she wrote, followed by a bee emoji.

Those who follow pop music on the internet know full well what the bee emoji tends to signify - Beyoncé. The Lemonade singer's fans, nicknamed the Beyhive, swarmed on the Instagram post to speculate that their favorite artist might be performing with Gaga at the Super Bowl.

Gaga and Beyoncé released the song "Telephone" back in 2009, which became a very memorable music video the following year. The track comes from Gaga's popular EP The Fame Monster.

It remains to be seen if Beyoncé will indeed perform at the Super Bowl this year, though she has been featured multiple times in recent years. She was the halftime act at the 2013 Super Bowl, where her Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams reunited to perform with her. Beyoncé was a guest at last year's Super Bowl halftime show, headlined by Coldplay, where she sang "Formation" and drew headlines both positive and negative for reference the Black Lives Matter movement and the Black Panthers.

Regardless, three Super Bowl halftime appearances in five years might be excessive even for a superstar like Beyoncé - especially now that she's pregnant with twins!

The Super Bowl will air live Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on Fox, with the New England Patriots taking on the Atlanta Falcons.
