A lot of movie enthusiasts has criticized the "Star Wars" prequel trilogy along with one of its actors; Jake Lloyd. But then, Mark Hamill was brave enough to defend the movie and its co-actor.

According to MovieWeb, a lot of movie enthusiast contemplates that George Lucas' "Star Wars" prequel trilogy as a down time in the franchise's long history. This was because everything starting from Jar Jar Binks to the digitally-created backgrounds up to the portrayals by Jake Lloyd and Hayden Christensen experienced powerful scrutiny by fans.

As of now, the sci-fi series have been more popular than ever, due to the huge success of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story". Also, one of the saga's biggest stars, Mark Hamill, is defending the prequels and its co-star Jake Lloyd. The actor also stated in a current interview that he was afraid to reappear as Luke Skywalker since he almost appeared in the 2010 anti-Star Wars documentary The People Vs. George Lucas.

Furthermore, IGN reported that "Star Wars" actor Mark Hamill stated that "I couldn't believe some of the things they wrote about the prequels." He also added that that he is still angry about the way they treated Jake Lloyd for his enactment in "Star Wars: Episode 1: The Phantom Menace".

Mark Hamill also said that Jake Lloyd is just only ten years old and he further explained that Jake did exactly what George Lucas wanted him to do. He also agreed that the film had heavy dialogue and although he has disputes with George Lucas he still loves that man. Additionally, the actor went on and called the undesirable reaction to the prequel films as just brutal and one of the reasons why he would certainly not let his kids enter show business.

Moreover, this year "Star Wars" fans will be able to witness the "Star Wars 8, with a Han Solo sequel coming in 2018. Also, Star Wars 9 in 2019 is expected along with another spin-off in 2020 that might focus on Boba Fett.
