The upcoming "Sword Art Online" full length feature film, "Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale," is now just weeks away from being released in Japan. Given that fact, hype for the upcoming movie is at an all time high. The movie's official website has managed to keep the hype level constant by continually dishing out new pictures and videos. Now, to further bring the hype to an entirely new level, a new trailer and an accompanying commercial has just now been released.

The newly released videos, published on the movie's website, do show the same relative scenes that have thus far been showcased in previous trailers. However, some new images and scenes have been inserted here and there. Similar to previous videos, the upcoming movie's new augmented reality (AR) system, called "Augma," is featured front and center.

Fans will also get a glimpse of the movie's new villain along with a number of fluid animation and fight scenes. Additionally, the videos also showcase the movie's new theme song performed by LiSA titled "Catch the Moment."

Based on the synopsis published by Aniplex of America, via Comic Book, the movie itself will be featuring an all original storyline written by Reki Kawahara. The movie is set just after the events of the "Sword Art Online" anime's second season. The plot still centers around Kirito Asuna and his friends, who have now started playing a new game called "Ordinal Scale" using a new AR system that is slowly gaining popularity.

Kirito is hesitant to try out the game after having been trapped inside another game using the NerveGear system for two years. After being convinced to finally play the game, Kirito and the rest of his friends soon realize that not everything is as it seems when they encounter a monster from Aincrad. "Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale" is scheduled to hit theaters in Japan on Feb. 18 and the United States on March 9.
