Lady Gaga will not be making a statement about President Donald Trump during her Super Bowl halftime performance.

Despite many media outlets and bloggers speculating on what Gaga might say during her Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, the pop star herself confirmed that she won't be making a big political statement.

Gaga spoke with Las Vegas' 98.5 KLUC this week and revealed that she intends to bring people together for her Super Bowl performance, not create further divisiveness.

"Well, I mean, no," she said with some hesitation, when asked if she would make a statement on Trump. "It's not what the show is about. What the show is - something that is coming from my heart to everyone in America that I love so much. This is my country, and I'm proud to be a pop star from this country. I've traveled the whole world. And it's still something special to be from America and I want people that watch the halftime show that Pepsi Zero Sugar is putting on with us to just feel the greatness of the USA. So that part of it will be there."

Gaga was an outspoken supporter of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton during the election and even protested outside of Trump Tower in New York after he won.

Explaining why she won't be making a bold political statement about Trump, Gaga stated that she is aware of the grandness of the Super Bowl stage and she wants to use it "to bring people together on that day. Saying anything divisive is only going to make things worse, and that's just not what I want for our country, so I'm gonna take the stage with the wonderful dignity and love that my mother instilled in me when I was very little and do this one for the kids in America."

Gaga made similar statements about inclusiveness in her press conference with the NFL on Thursday.

"This performance is for everyone," she said. "I want to, more than anything, create a moment that everyone that's watching will never forget."

The Super Bowl begins Sunday at 6:30 p.m. ET on Fox.
