Lena Dunham has lost weight ever since Donald Trump was elected President of the United States.

Dunham appeared on Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show Monday and discussed why she has trimmed down over the past few months - and it can all be attributed to President Trump.

"Donald Trump became president and I stopped being able to eat food," she revealed. "Everyone's been asking like, 'What have you been doing?' And I'm like, 'Try soul-crushing pain and devastation and hopelessness, and you, too, will lose weight.'"

Dunham also addressed Trump's comments towards her and other celebrities while also trying to run the free world.

"[Trump] said I was a B-list actor with no mojo. ... Here's the funny thing. Of course, it's a mistake," she said, discussing Trump commenting on celebrity opinions of him. "But we're talking about him like he's a person who is operating in a sane way; we're talking about him like a person who doesn't have a personality disorder."

Dunham was one of the most prominent celebrities speaking out against Trump during the 2016 election, even saying that she would move to Canada if he was elected. The Girls star has since backed off from those comments, writing a long note on Instagram about her decision to stay in the United States:

"I've realized I can survive, as a Jewish pro-choice sexual assault survivor with a queer family member and a belief that we are all exactly & beautifully equal? I can survive staying in this country, MY country, to fight and love and use my embarrassment of blessings to do what's right," she wrote. "It's easy to joke about moving to Canada. It's hard to see and to love, the people who fill your mailbox with hate. It's harder to see what needs to be done and do it. It's harder to live, fully and painfully aware of the injustice surrounding us, to cherish and fear your country all at once. But I'm willing to try. Will you try with me?"
