Fox Cancels 'Terra Nova'

After months of speculation, Fox finally gave Steven Spielberg's Terra Nova the old heave-ho after one season.

For a very brief moment, Terra Nova's future looked bright after its two-hour season finale gained favorable reviews and the overly hyped Alcatraz hit a ratings slump. However, Entertainment Weekly reports Fox execs didn't like the show.

While Terra Nova is poised to become the highest rated canceled show of the season, the series seemed doomed from the start. The costly dinosaur drama didn't make it to the air until September, after its premiere was delayed twice.

Fans of the show shouldn't freak out just yet. The 20^th Century Fox TV studio will attempt to shop the series to other networks.
