"Star Wars" Han Solo Movie is truly happening. Aside from the confirmation of the actor who is going to play title role, there are exciting new developments with the much awaited "Star Wars" spin-off movie after "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story".

While "Star Wars" fans still hope that Han Solo will be part of "Star Wars" Episode 8, the new spin-off movie is a good news all fans are willing to accept, for now. Han Solo has been famously killed by his own son, Kylo Ren, during the last few parts of "Star Wars" Episode 7.

However, "Star Wars" fans still argue, up to now, whether Han Solo has really been killed in "Star Wars" Episode 7. Some are even theorizing on a plot twist and are hoping that their favorite smuggler will make a surprise comeback in "Star Wars" Episode 8.

So if ever Han Solo will really turn up dead in "Star Wars" Episode 8, fans of the famous smuggler will just have to wait a year or so to watch the "Star Wars" Han Solo Movie.

As reported by Digital Spy, Alden Ehrenreich has won the title role in the "Star Wars" Han Solo Movie. It is said that both Disney and Lucasfilm have been in awe of the 27-year-old actor's attitude during the London Star Wars celebration.

The "Star Wars" Han Solo Movie is going to be directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, directors of 21 Jump Street and The Lego Movie. While Lawrence Kasdan will once again handle the script, this time however with the help of his son, Jon Kasdan.

According to Variety, Pheobe Waller-Bridge will have a CGI role similar to Chewbacca, C-3PO and K-2SO. Other confirmed actors in the "Star Wars" Han Solo Movie are Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson as a criminal mentor and Emilia Clarke in an undisclosed key role.

"Star Wars" Episode 8 will hit cinemas on December 15, 2017 while the "Star Wars" Han Solo Movie release date will most likely be on December 13, 2018.
