Nina Dobrev thrilled the fans when she confirmed that she will return in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8. But it looks like it gets more thrilling when reports swirled that she will tie the knot with Ian Somerhalder in the finale.

Nina Dobrev and Ian reunited in the finale season of the said vampire-themed series as well as with Paul Wesley. However, that is not only the exciting part as there are reports claiming that she and Ian will get married in the end.

As reported by Korea Portal, "Delena" might have a happy ending now that Elena Gilbert finally returned. So apart from reprising her character as Elena, the actress might also be preparing for her wedding scene with Damon Salvatore in the said series.

Nina Dobrev surprised the fans when she broke the news in her social media account that she would return in the hit series. She posted a photo of the script; thus, confirming that her return is official and is indeed happening.

It has been reported that when Nina Dobrev was filming some of her last scenes in "The Vampire Diaries" finale, she became emotional. She even compared her return to a high school reunion after seeing all her friends again in the set.

However, since reports of Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder on-screen wedding is making rounds online, there are reports claiming that Nikki Reed, Ian's wife is not that pleased. It has been reported that she jealous and that she doesn't support the reunion of the Nina and Ian in the series finale.

But as per US Magazine, Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed just made it clear and proved to everybody that the news and rumors are not true after all. The three posted "selfie" photo that was taken during their farewell dinner.

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder might tie the knot in the finale of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 but that doesn't mean that they plan to rekindle their romance. Ian is happily married to Nikki Reed while friends with Nina Dobrev.
