After an exciting finish to its eighth season, CBS' hit crime drama, Criminal Minds, is looking forward to its return in the fall, following its Replicator storyline.

Producer Erica Messer recent informed TV Guide on May 28 that the series will be bringing back old unsubs from its past, as well as some old cases.

"I'd like to see old unsubs, like we did in [Season 5's] 'Outfoxed,' but do it differently.  That might be the world we explore this year, people we've hunted in the past. We also have a few unsubs still at large.  Maybe we'll finally catch them too."

While many of the show's fans are surely disappointed to see the end of The Replicator storyline, the series hasn't disappointed with its unsubs over the years.

In other recent Criminal Minds news, executive producer Eric Messer recently addressed the site about the Season 8 finale death of Strauss (Jayne Atkinson), and how he dealt with separating his feelings for Atkinson the person from the limited character development he felt was left for her part.

"Yeah, I had a hard time with that. I've known Jayne for so long and I had to really separate knowing Jayne and the creative place we are with Strauss.  It's hard for the team to have an enemy like The Replicator, and for him to not do any damage just didn't seem right," he said.

CBS' Criminal Minds is set to kick off in the fall of 2013.  Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the TV series.
