There's always a high body count on Game of Thrones, and fans have known from the beginning that they would have to say goodbye to some big characters before a season comes to an end, but they may have just been gven a hint of at least one character who won't meet a grisly end in season 7.

While walking the red carpet at the BAFTAs over the weekend, Sophie Turner, who portrays Sansa Stark on the show, discussed her busy year ahead with her many projects, which include the show and her role in the X-Men movies, and may have inadvertently revealed that Sansa won't die in season 7 in the process.

"We've just finished shooting Seasons seven of Thrones, and I've got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts. And then we go on to Season eight," she said. "I've got a busy year lined up."

While discussing season eight could have been a way for Turner to trick fans into believing that Sansa will be safe when the opposite is actually true, if she did reveal that Sansa lives it could be a big sigh of relief for fans of her character, who has started to exhibit stronger qualities, showing herself in season 7 to have some of the same qualities of her other Stark siblings who aren't afraid of doing what may be necessary to get what they want. In addition to proving she knows more about battle strategy by securing the Knights of the Vale for her brother Jon's (Kit Harington) Battle of the Bastards against her husband, Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon), she also showed a more sadistic side when she unleashed Ramsay's own dogs on him to kill him afterwards.

The Stak family had seen some difficult times in earlier seasons of the show, with them losing their home in Winterfell, as well as the deaths of patriarch Ned, matriarch Katelyn and oldest brother Robb at the hands of the Lannisters and their many supporters. Since then, Rickon was also killed by Ramsay during the battle, though Jon and Sansa have reclaimed Winterfell successfully. In addition, Bran (Isaac Hampstead-Wright) is also headed back with the revelation that Jon is actually not Ned's son, and Arya (Maisie Williams) is also back in Westeros and on her own, with her new training as an assassin helping her seek revenge on the enemies who massacred her family.

Game of Thrones returns this summer on HBO.
