The latest update for the highly popular open world action-adventure video game, "Watch Dogs 2," contained a mountain of new content that fans of the game should enjoy. However, one particular addition, which actually increases the ending scene of the game to a few seconds, is likely hinting at the future of the franchise.

The patch notes for "Watch Dogs 2" Update 1.11 detailed a lot of the new additions that were added to the game. Some of the new additions included new areas that are seemingly in preparation for the game's upcoming new DLC. The update also included a myriad of new aesthetic content such as new clothing, costumes, emotes, and even new dance moves.

One of the more interesting additions, however, is the game's new extended ending. Without spoiling too much of the ending, the added scenes seems to hint at a new location. A report from Kotaku points out that the coordinates that are being flashed on screen are actually for a place in Brixton, London.

The upcoming new DLC for "Watch Dogs 2," titled "Human Conditions," has already been revealed to be set in San Francisco's science and medicine industries. According to VG247, none of the announced three new storylines takes place outside of the city, which begs the question of why Brixton was being hinted at the game's extended ending.

As for the upcoming new DLC, "Human Conditions" has been revealed to be released during the second quarter of this year. Aside from the three new story missions, the DLC will also introduce a new co-op mission that will include a new enemy called the "Jammer."

"Watch Dogs 2" initially experienced some relatively low sales after its launch. This led some fans to believe that the developers may eventually opt to abandon the franchise and give up on the idea of a possible sequel. However, Ubisoft recently confirmed that the game's sales have been significantly improving. With that in mind, it could be possible that a third game may be in the works, and possibly even set in Brixton, London.
