According to Kotaku, the "Pokemon Go" February update has long been requested by the fans. Fortunately, Niantic has finally pulled through and will soon release new content, items and pocket monsters for the augmented-reality game.

Once the "Pokemon Go" update will be released, players can enjoy collecting dozens of new creatures from the Johto compendium. This is definitely good news for "Pokemon Go" fanatics since they must be getting tired of seeing the same creatures over and over again.

The two new berries will be the Nanab Berry and the Pinap Berry. The Nanab Berry has the ability to slow a Pokemon's movement, which will make the capture easier for the trainers.

Meanwhile, the Pinap Berry doubles the amount of Candy received if the next catch attempt will be successful.Trainers can also unleash their fashionista side while playing "Pokemon Go" as they get a wider selection of pants, shirts and hats courtesy of the "Pokemon Go" Feb. update. Some of the Johto pocket monsters arriving in the upcoming update include Totodile, Cyndaqui, and Chikorita.

The "Pokemon Go" update will also give players the chance to finally evolve several Gen 2 pocket monsters like Zubat, Slowpoke, Onix, Chansey, Seadra, Scyther, Eeve, and Porygon. On another note, Express UK reported that the New Encounter Gameplay will bring about changes in the reactions of some pocket monsters as trainers try to catch them.
