The multi-awarded 34-year old actress, Anne Hathaway, is no stranger to comedy movies. However, her upcoming movie, "Colossal," seems to be quite a unique addition to her repertoire, as it does involve a rather large monster attacking the city of Seoul in South Korea. The unique movie is surely something to look forward to as there will apparently be more to what has already been shown in the movie's recently released trailers.

The film's second trailer, via Yahoo! Movies has just recently been dropped and despite its increased length as compared to the first one, it still manages to keep the overall premise of the movie under wraps. The majority of what is shown in the new trailer is still pretty much the same information that has been revealed in the film's released synopsis.

Hathaway will be playing a New York girl named Gloria, who has lost her job and has been kicked out off her boyfriend's apartment. The character then returns to her hometown where he meets his childhood friend, played by Jason Sudeikis. Gloria finds herself drowning in her own despair, while at the same time a giant Kaiju, or an unknown monster, appears in South Korea.

The trailer further reveals that Gloria and the Kaiju seemingly have a psychic connection, where all of Gloria's actions become emulated by the monster. A report from Collider points out that, while being insignificant in the grander scheme of things, Gloria's actions will apparently have a huge effect on the rest of the world. She and her friends will likely be trying figure out their next steps after having discovered this seemingly out of this world connection.

"Colossal" was originally debuted at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival last year. It will also be starring Dan Stevens, Austin Stowell and Tim Blake Nelson alongside Hathaway and Sudeikis. The movie is written and directed by Nacho Vigalondo under Voltage Pictures and NEON. "Colossal" is scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on April 7.
