Baron Corbin has shown massive potential in the WWE since his drafting to the main roster from NXT. Now that the "Lone Wolf" has made an impact many times over, the next question is whether he will get his hands on gold for the coming Wrestlemania pay-per-view this April.

As some may agree upon, Baron Corbin is one of the most popular superstars in the WWE today. Coming from a triumphant run in NXT, the retired boxer and American football player showcased his in-ring abilities as a consistent heel in the main roster, and now, being pitted against the main event material superstars like AJ Styles and John Cena.

According to Sportskeeda, the star was placed accordingly in the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view of Smackdown, failing to pick up the win after Dean Ambrose pinned him with a roll-up. He got his revenge by refusing to leave the chamber, hitting Ambrose with an End of Days that cost the superstar shot. After the pay-per-view, Ambrose tried looking for Corbin but to no avail, then requesting a match against James Ellsworth to suffice. Unbeknownst to Ambrose, Corbin was simply waiting for a chance to jump on him before the match and was beaten relentlessly.

The conflict seemed to ignite the potential of an Intercontinental Match at Wrestlemania 33, with Ambrose defending his belt against Baron Corbin. Given that Corbin won the Andre The Giant Battle Royal last year on the same stage, it is expected that the Lone Wolf will once again appear for an even bigger cause, moving his superstardom higher in the Smackdown roster cards.

No Wrestlemania has been seen without the Intercontinental Championship, and in the particular case, it could have a much more severe stipulation given the gravity of their conflict. There is also no telling as to who will get the gold just yet, but if the hunches will prove right, the upcoming Wrestlemania could certainly boost Baron Corbin's career even more and become one of the most prominent Smackdown superstars.

Baron Corbin is already being eyed for a big push, but with no leads on which manner it will come as. What do you think will happen to the WWE if the Lone Wolf is to capture the coveted gold?
