The official dates for this year's "Star Wars" Celebration have finally been revealed. And fans are wondering if Disney and Lucasfilm will finally feature the first ever teaser trailer for its eighth episode franchise installment, "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," at the event.

This year's "Star Wars" Celebration, according to the official announcement, is going to take place in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center. The gathering is set to open its gates on April 13 and will run until April 16. "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" director, Rian Johnson, and Lucasfilm President, Kathleen Kennedy, have both been confirmed to appear on stage.

Meanwhile, some enthusiasts think that the "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" trailer might actually be present at the "Star Wars" Celebration this coming April. Collider's Perri Nemiroff, on the recent Collider Jedi Council (at the 5-minute mark), has strongly speculated that Disney may show not just a teaser for the eighth episode but as well as a behind-the-scene featurette.

Fans who have been following the annual event may not exactly find this particular speculation too unlikely to happen. As what some may remember, the very first trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was first featured at the same event in 2015. Then last year, the featurette for the spin-off movie "Star Wars: A Rogue One Story" was showed to the public.

If this sequence does continue in "Star Wars" Celebration 2017, chances are, the first trailer for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" might be there. It should be noted that Disney has yet to make any official announcement regarding its plans for "Star Wars Celebration."

Furthermore, the showing of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" trailer at the event is just based on pure speculation at the moment. That being said, it's advisable to take this one with a tiny pinch of salt and wait for more updates coming from Disney and Lucasfilm regarding the matter.
