One of the longest-running American television series, NBC's police procedural legal drama, "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" or most popularly known as "Law & Order: SVU", is set to air another episode from its eighteenth season. Several updates and spoilers have been appearing on the web regarding on what fans should be expecting once the episode airs.

On the most recent episode of "Law & Order: SVU" season 18, titled "Great Expectations", it featured One of the members of a hockey team was sexually assaulted in a suspected locker room hazing. The alleged hazing resulted for the victim to die because of infection. When the SVU team investigated the incident, it was found out that the victim was the player who was not able to make the winning shot which was the reason why his team lost.

The team came up with many suspects on the previous episode of "Law & Order: SVU", including two known troublemakers on the hockey team. Even though they were highly suspected to be the culprit, they insisted that they were not involved in the hazing incident. It was later revealed that the victim's best friend was the one who did it, because of his fear to get beaten by his violent father, who was the one who told him to do beat his best friend to death.

On the upcoming episode of "Law & Order: SVU" season 18, even though fans found it nearly impossible, a reunion of Olivia Benson, portrayed by Mariska Hargitay, and Elliot Stabler, played by Christopher Meloni, is highly demanded. According to MTV, fans were reportedly more than hyped when Hargitay posted a photo of her and former co-star Meloni on her official Instagram account.

The post reportedly earned many likes and comments, especially from the fans of "Law & Order: SVU", who watched them on the series as partners on the Special Victims Unit team. Fans are again apparently getting their hopes up on the possibility of their characters to come back on the series. Hargitay is currently in the series, while Meloni left the series after the twelfth season.

Meanwhile, marking "Law & Order: SVU's" 400th episode, its director, Hargitay, talked to E!News about the milestone the series has achieved. She reportedly said that on the eighteen years that she has been on the show, every moment was considered precious and every day she has the reason to stay on the show for as long as she could.

Hargitay added that she's glad that people loved her on "Law & Order: SVU" as Olivia Benson, and has been thankful for the things that the series got her, not just on the acting, but behind the small screens as well.
