Jessica Simpson Baby Bump PHOTOS; Shows off Increasing Pregnancy Belly Near Due Date
Jessica Simpson's baby bump was on full display as she was out and about on May 25.
The 32-year-old was in Los Angeles dining with her family at Boccali's restaurant when paparazzi snapped pictures of the singer's growing baby bump.
Simpson confirmed on Jimmy Kimmel Live in March that the baby will be a boy. The singer revealed the sex of the baby accidently, saying, "I can't believe I did that. That was not planned."
The child will be the singer's second after giving birth to her daughter Maxwell in 2012. The baby will also be her second with fiancé Eric Johnson, a former NFL player. She is due to give birth any day now.
In March, Simpson told Ellen DeGeneres that she is making healthier choices with this second pregnancy:
"The first pregnancy, I like, let loose and I kind of ate everything that I wanted to eat and I just really enjoyed it," she said. "This time around I think because I was doing Weight Watchers and I felt super healthy. I'm not really craving as much and I know how hard it is to get off, so I'm trying to make healthier, wiser decisions."
At her baby shower in April, she was telling friends she wanted to "get married a few months after the baby is born." Simpson divorced singer Nick Lachey in 2005 after three years of marriage. Johnson also was previously wed.
The singer joked, "Let's have this wedding already before I get pregnant with another one!"
She has a television series in the works that will based on her life and the sitcom will star Simpson herself. The sitcom's production company chairman Ben Silverman noted that Simpson is "truly a modern-day Lucy," referring to Lucille Ball.
She returned in March to participate as a judge in the second season of NBC's reality competition series, Fashion Star. The series has not been picked up for a third season.
