Jennifer Lopez doesn't care about age difference, even if the tabloids are obsessed with her younger boyfriends.

Lopez appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show recently and spoke about the men she has dated, including Casper Smart, who is 18 years younger than her.

"OK, first of all, stop. I don't date younger men," Lopez explained to host Ellen DeGeneres. "It's not like you have to be younger, it's not about that. I just meet people and if I go out with them, I go out with them, and if I like them, I like them and if I don't, I don't. It's just about the person. It's about who they are, it has nothing to do with age."

She went on to explain that she has received much criticism in the press for dating younger.

"I dated Beau [Casper Smart] and he was younger and that was the first guy I ever dated younger than me and then I got labeled right away," she said. "If they're older, they're older. If they're younger, they're younger. It doesn't matter. It's whether or not I'm attracted to them or not, attracted to their spirit, their soul, whatever their energy is."

The 47-year-old Lopez also spoke a bit about Drake, who she was rumored to have dated earlier this year.

"We were just hanging out," Lopez said, in reference to a photo of them looking close. "I hang out with a lot of friends and we never hang out like that."

Before Smart, Lopez did date within her age range, marrying 47-year-old Cris Judd in 2001 and Marc Anthony in 2004, though she wound end up divorcing both eventually.
