Brad Culpepper is one of the worst placing contestants returning for Survivor: Game Changers, and still has a lot to prove.

Some were surprised to see Brad returning for Survivor: Game Changers, a season comprising of castaways who have made big moves and changed the game of Survivor in some way. Brad played in Survivor: Blood vs. Water with wife Monica Culpepper, and their respective games could not have been more different.

Brad started off on the loved ones tribe and became the de facto leader. His created an alliance of men and tried to lead his tribe to victory in the pre-merge but suffered greatly. The tribe lost the first four Immunity Challenges of the season, and Brad made many enemies along the way. Both Marissa Peterson and Candice Cody openly criticized Brad (the infamous "f- you Brad Culpepper!" line) for using the strategy of trying to hurt the loved ones of the contestants he helped vote out.

Brad was finally undone when Caleb Bankston flipped on him, and Vytas Baskauskas followed along with him, which ended up saving the remaining women, Ciera Eastin and Katie Collins. He finished in 15th place overall. Meanwhile, Monica was the runner-up of the season.

Now, Brad is hoping to cool his jets in the first few days of Survivor: Game Changers.

"Slow down out of the gate, then ramp up as game evolves," Brad says in his CBS bio, discussing what he plans on doing differently this season.

As for how he's changed Brad simply stated that he is "one year older", though he added that he has gained a bit of "self-awareness" in the years following his stint on Blood vs. Water.

Survivor: Game Changers premieres Wednesday, March 8 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
