This year, the fans' favorite motorcycle club is returning on televisions. FX network's former crime drama series, "Sons of Anarchy" is going to be releasing its spin-off "Mayans MC", but this time without actor Charlie Hunnam portraying the lead role Jackson "Jax" Teller.

After "Sons of Anarchy" aired its seventh and last season on 2014, with its finale episode aired on December that year, fans have been looking forward to more of the series until they got the confirmation of the spin-off announced last year. It has been previously reported that the spin-off will be centered around the Latino culture and that the setting will be set after what happened on the FX series, making some of the previous characters likely to appear.

However, even though fans have wanted so much to see actor Charlie Hunnam portray the role as president of the "Sons of Anarchy" mother charter, Jex Teller, again, he confirmed he will not be appearing on "Mayans MC." On an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor mentioned that as his character had died in the finale episode of the series, and the spin-off being set after the end of the happenings on the show, he will not be expected to appear on the upcoming spin-off.

But as a huge supporter of the series' creator, Kurt Sutter, and being a part of "Sons of Anarchy" for seven successful seasons, Hunnam said that he will still be looking forward to watching "Mayans MC." The actor mentioned that he knew Sutter's ability to create phenomenal and outstanding shows, and added that he is beyond excited to see what the upcoming spin-off could offer the fans.

According to Comic Book, it has already been planned by the FX network that the "Sons of Anarchy" spin-off "Mayans MC's" pilot episode will be directed by the series' creator himself. Additionally, the reported story line of the spin-off will focus on a character named EZ Reyes who will reportedly take vengeance against a drug cartel.

Meanwhile, Hunnam is now currently busy with his newest projects, upcoming film, "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword", and "The Lost City Of Z", where the actor will reportedly play main roles. Other previous characters from "Sons of Anarchy" are also currently having their respective projects on the small and big screens.
