Fans of the "Mission Impossible" star, Tom Cruise, were initially ecstatic when reports started to emerge that he was apparently ready to reunite with his 10-year old daughter, Suri Cruise, after having been away from her for over three years. However, new reports have now suggested that the claims of the alleged reunion may have just been fabricated.

According to Gossip Cop, the 54-year old Tom Cruise has not shown any signs of interest in getting together with his daughter, Suri Cruise, from his 38-year old "Dawson's Creek" actress and ex-wife, Katie Holmes. The report further claims that all the news reports that have alleged their upcoming reunion remain to be false.

The reports regarding Tom Cruise and Suri Cruise reuniting had apparently originated from an article published by In Touch. The report claims that after the death of Cruise's 80-year old mother earlier this month, the actor had reportedly decided to re-evaluate his life, hence his decision to reconnect with his young daughter.

The report also cites an alleged source close to the actor that made some very bold claims. The source alleges that Tom Cruise is making preparations to have his handlers and attorneys get in touch with Holmes so that he can meet up with his daughter as soon as possible. However, the report from Gossip Cop tried to verify the source's claims and ended up with a verification that the actor really isn't planning to reach out to Suri Cruise anytime soon.

Holmes is Cruise's third wife, whom he started dating back in 2005. Suri was born a few months before the couple were officially married in November 2006. The couple remained married for five and a half years until Homes filed for divorce from Tom Cruise in 2012. The divorce was finalized after the couple signed the divorce settlement papers on July 2012, but due to New York law, the terms of their settlements remains sealed.
