Angelina Jolie might reprise her role as the titular character in the film, "Maleficent 2" despite his on-going divorce settlement with Brad Pitt. Apart from this movie, it has been claimed too that she will also do other projects which are mostly remakes. Reports were claiming that Angelina Jolie has no plans of taking a step back from Hollywood as opposed to previous reports. In fact, the actress will be taking on different projects in the subsequent years amidst a very difficult divorce from Brad Pitt.

Her latest film, "First They Killed My Father" was screened in Cambodia last February 18. She attended the said screening event with all her six children. Angelina and her kids met the Cambodian royalty and even taste-test the cuisine in the country including scorpions and spiders. Some reports were considering that Angelina Jolie's next projects will jeep her close to her home. US Magazine claimed that she will be doing an adaptation of Simon Sebag and a World War II espionage drama which is based on Clare Mulley's book published last 2012.

Apart from films, she will also continue her passion in directing films. The actress is planning to work on an adaptation of Alessandro Baricco's novel "Without Blood" which is a story of an unnamed war. Besides those mentioned, Angelina Jolie is also the producer of "The One and Only Ivan," a Disney kid's movie. The actress last film in front of the camera was "By the Sea" which she also wrote and directed and co-starred with her now ex-husband, Brad Pitt as per PEOPLE.

Her projects don't just end there because she is also set to star in the Universal's remake of "The Bride of Frankenstein" and "Sony's Shoot Like a Girl." The last film tells a story of an American Air Force major and his relationship with helicopter pilot Mary Jennings Hegar.

Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie had just opened up about her controversial split from Brad Pitt. The actress was very emotional during the interview telling people that the divorce was very difficult for her. Besides, she also cited that they are still a family no matter what.
