They were rumored to be planning to tie the knot this May, but a new report claims that Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are putting those plans on hold now to focus on another big moment-having a baby together.

According to Life and Style, the pair have postponed those initial plans to instead work on expanding their family, by giving Stefani's sons with ex Gavin Rossdale a little sibling, preferably a girl.

"They're trying to have a baby first," a source told the magazine. "That's their main focus right now. She's determined to have another baby and carry it herself, even though Blake has said it doesn't matter if they adopt or get a surrogate."

The source also says that Stefani, 46, has been undergoing in vitro treatments for the past year with no success, and has decided for now to take a break, in the hopes that maybe trying the natural way will help her instead.

"Physically and emotionally, it was just a lot for her," the source said. "So she's trying to get pregnant naturally for the time being."

This isn't the first time rumors have surrounded the couple about plans or desires for a baby together, with reports often circulating last year, when they were just months into their romance, that they were trying heavily to have a little girl together, and would even consider adoption if natural conception couldn't work out for them.

"It might be a baby, or it might be a toddler," sources said at the time. "But no matter what, they want to have a little girl in their arms by the end of 2017."
