The production for the highly anticipated, massive superhero movie, "Avengers: Infinity War," has begun. And one of its main stars, Karen Gillan, has officially announced that she will soon join the production as Nebula, the adopted daughter of the Mad Titan, Thanos.

The former "Doctor Who" actress made the announcement on her Twitter account on Thursday early morning. On her message, she teased the fans that "Nebula is back" and that she is now ready to suit up as the blue supervillain in "Avengers: Infinity War."

The big budget movie will reportedly film in Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Highlands, according to The Telegraph. "Avengers: Infinity War" is being expected to begin shooting on Feb. 28 and will last possibly for six months.

Nebula, as reported by Comicbook, is one of the important characters in the Marvel comic book arc, "Infinity Gauntlet," the story which "Avengers: Infinity War" was rumored to be based on. In the comic book arc, Nebula was the key character that helped the group of superheroes to overthrow Thanos; the event that brought order back into the universe.

Meanwhile, Marvel and Disney have yet to release any official headcount of the actors that will come out in "Avengers: Infinity War." But there have been some rumors lately suggesting that Adam Warlock may possibly appear in the massive 2018 film.

One reason why some fans think Warlock may be included in "Avengers: Infinity War" is due to the rumored potential casting of Peter Dinklage. On early January, Variety reported that the "Game of Thrones" star is in early talks with Marvel for a "key role" in the movie.

Some strongly believe that Dinklage may play the role of Pip the Troll in "Avengers: Infinity War." If this turns out to be accurate, then Warlock's inclusion in the movie should also be expected since both of them have played a role in the "Infinity Gauntlet."

It should be noted that Marvel and Disney have yet to confirm nor deny this speculation for "Avengers: Infinity War." That being said, fans are advised to take this one with a tiny pinch of salt.

"Avengers: Infinity War" is expected to hit theaters on May 4, 2018. Its second part, the yet-to-be-titled "Avengers 4" will premiere in cinemas on May 3, 2019.
