The Titanfall 2 Live Fire update was announced for release in the month of February.

The update brings new multiplayer maps for the Live Fire multiplayer mode, namely the Meadow and Stacks. Meadow, as the name suggests, is a lush map with tall grass and rocks, whereas Stacks provides for a more urban look. Both of these maps are tailored specifically for the new Titanfall 2 multiplayer mode. The Live Fire multiplayer mode puts two teams each of size six pilots against each other in a round that lasts only a minute.

According to the patch notes, the update also brings a new animation while executing a Stim punch. This slick new animation is called Late Hit, which pummels the enemy to the ground with a series of punches. Apart from this, the Titanfall 2 update will bring forth certain improvement to the game itself, like the holo pilot decoy can latch itself onto ziplines, and is more hardy when it comes to stepping over things.

The holo pilot decoy would no longer crash and die on ceilings during wall run, and will show up on threat scope and sonar grenade pings. The Kraber gun can also not be used as a semi automatic anymore, as explained in the patch notes. As of now, Titanfall 2 dev is confident that the new patch will make the game better is all aspects.
