Some fans were hoping for a Memorial Day release by Eminem, and many were led to believe that they had stumbled upon new material on YouTube.

Fans first learned that Eminem had started to formulate his eighth studio album last August. Since then, Shady Records president Paul Rosenberg told Billboard that listeners could expect the record to drop post-Memorial Day. With the holiday weekend come and gone, rumors are circulating that the album will make it's debut in early July, possible on July 2, according to various media reports.

Eager fans that recently searched for Eminem on YouTube may have been excited to find videos titled "Eminem New Music 2013." Unfortunately, these recordings are not by the Slim Shady rapper, but are instead by Denace.

Denace has officially stated that he has nothing to do with these postings. The rapper is disheartened by the connotation brought around by the mistitling of the songs, with listeners branding him as an "Eminem Wannabe."

"People have been taking all my songs and posting them on their Youtube pages renaming them "Eminem," "New Eminem 2013," etc," Denace told Mstars. "So, that whole 'wannabe' crap is bull... I'm doing me and only me, it's the other people trying to get views on their pages."

Eminem has a short European tour scheduled for August. His upcoming album still remains untitled.
