The Oscars live stream is the place to be for those who cannot watch the 2017 awards on television.

The 2017 Oscars, a.k.a. the Academy Awards, are one of the biggest television events of the year. Bringing together some of the world's biggest stars from the year's best movies, the Oscars celebrate the best and brightest in Hollywood.

This year, the talk of the town is La La Land, which received a record-tying 14 nominations. The Los Angeles-based musical starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling is widely predicted to win Best Picture and a slew of other awards. Other Best Picture nominees include Moonlight, Manchester by the Sea, Arrival, Hidden Figures, Hacksaw Ridge, Hell or High Water and Lion, with most of these films having corresponding acting nominations as well.

The nominees for Best Actor include Gosling for La La Land, Casey Affleck for Manchester by the Sea, Andrew Garfield for Hacksaw Ridge, Viggo Mortensen for Captain Fantastic and Denzel Washington for Fences, while the Best Actress nominees are Stone for La La Land, Isabelle Huppert for Elle, Ruth Negga for Loving, Natalie Portman for Jackie and Meryl Streep for Florence Foster Jenkins.

Nominees for Best Supporting Actor are Mahershala Ali for Moonlight, Jeff Bridges for Hell or High Water, Lucas Hedges for Manchester by the Sea, Dev Patel for Lion and Michael Shannon for Nocturnal Animals, and the nominees for Best Supporting Actress are Viola Davis for Fences, Naomie Harris for Moonlight, Nicole Kidman for Lion, Octavia Spencer for Hidden Figures and Michelle Williams for Manchester by the Sea.

Jimmy Kimmel is slated to host this year's Oscars, which will include performances by Justin Timberlake, Sting, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Auli'i Cravalho, John Legend and Sara Bareilles.

The Oscars begin at 8:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PT Sunday night on ABC. If you cannot watch the show on television, you can live stream it through ABC.com or the ABC app. All you'll need is a cable subscription to do so.
