OnePlus is expected to skip OnePlus 4 moniker for its upcoming flagship handset. Dubbed as OnePlus 5, the forthcoming smartphone from the Chinese tech company might boast Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 8 GB of RAM and other top caliber specs and features.

According to News18, OnePlus will be delivering the successor of OnePlus 3 this year and it seems that the Chinese tech company will skip OnePlus 4 moniker to give way for OnePlus 5. It was also believed that the upcoming handset will be another 'flagship killer' from OnePlus and it will be armed with top caliber specs.

The OnePlus 4 or 5 is anticipated to hit the market shelves boasting 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display. Also, it might be engineered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset that will be coupled with an enormous 8 GB of RAM.

Aside from that, Droid Report stated its article that the OnePlus 4 or 5 will feature 64 GB of internal storage and it will be powered by a 4,000mAh Dash Charge battery. The upcoming handset from OnePlus is predicted to arrive pre-installed with Oxygen OS, which is based on the Android 7.0 Nougat.

The OnePlus 4 or 5 might also house a dual primary camera that has 16-megapixel and 12-megapixel sensor while its front snapper might have an 8-megapixel sensor. This handset is also predicted to be armed with a 2K display with a bezel-less design. Its screen is speculated to be clearer and it might have a more comfortable grip on its sides.

The OnePlus 4 or 5 will most likely arrive in two variants; the first one will have 64GB of internal storage, while the second will have 128GB. Both of which can be expanded up to 256GB. This handset may also feature a curved screen and it may be waterproof.

OnePlus is rumored to release the OnePlus 4 or 5 handset as early as April 2017. As for the price, it is estimated to be tagged at Rs 30,000, but then these details are just based on assumptions and predictions so it is advised to be taken with skepticism.
